Decided to do something different - looked at some of the charter options available in the area. This one had the best price, and all the reviews seemed very positive. 

And, I am glad we went. The Captain was very helpful and entertaining. It turned out that only my son, my wife and myself were booked. But, he still took us out despite it not being a full load. I've been on boats hundreds of times, but never on a sailboat. It was very peaceful. And, because of his split hull design, the boat isn't tossed about in the waves as much as other sailboats would be on a windy day. 

I would certainly recommend this service to someone considering a charter. And, I would go again.

And, I also enjoyed having someone to talk hockey too. Not many hockey fans down here in Texas!
